Job description

Backend Developer London (3 days in the office) Perm Up to £65,000 p.a

Peaple Talent have partnered with an outstanding client in London looking to recruit 2 Backend Developers to work within in-house business systems development team.

You will be focused on driving continual improvement by specifying, developing, and testing key improvements to processes, integrations with key business platforms such as ERP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out development to agreed requirements aligned with the business needs and objectives.
  • Solve problems through automation and obtain backing from others in the business to see the benefits of your work.
  • Follow Agile sprint methodology.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and implement solutions.
  • Represent IT in development project meetings, taking ownership of tasks.

Key Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in enterprise software development and SDLC.
  • Task orientated, able to work to fixed deadlines and SLAs.
  • Previous development experience within Python, ideally with experience in Flask and REST APIs.
  • Proficient with performance tuning, debugging, and secure coding practices.
  • In-depth understanding of system design, CI/CD, GIT, and engineering best practices.
