The Role

As an Insights Data & AI Technical Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of AI and data-driven initiatives that enhance client service, improve operational efficiency, and ensure regulatory compliance. You’ll act as the bridge between senior business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring strategic alignment, timely delivery, and the highest standards of governance. This is a hands-on leadership role with significant visibility and impact across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the delivery of multiple AI and Data projects, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
• Act as the key liaison between senior stakeholders, technical specialists, and delivery teams.
• Champion responsible AI, governance, and compliance practices across initiatives.
• Drive demand management and capacity planning, balancing priorities across concurrent projects.
• Provide subject matter expertise in Data & AI during proposals, scoping, and solution design.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and vendors to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Manage budgets, cost forecasts, and financial oversight for the portfolio.
• Facilitate continuous improvement, driving efficiency and innovation in delivery practices.

What We’re Looking For

• A degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Professional certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, Agile) - highly desirable.
• 8+ years’ experience in technical project, portfolio, or delivery management.
• Strong background in Data & AI initiatives or technology transformation programmes.
• Experience managing multi-vendor, multi-stakeholder projects in complex environments.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to balance competing priorities, manage risks, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Flexibility to travel internationally and operate across time zones when required.
