Microsoft 365 Architect role to help build a truly modern, collaborative, and secure workplace to improve the Digital Workplace Environment. The client is a leading financial services corporation located in Maidstone and offers a basic salary of £70,000 + 10-15% bonus + Benefits with hybrid working.

This is a unique opportunity to lead the design and evolution of the digital workplace, ensuring a best-in-class experience for every colleague. You will use deep Microsoft 365 expertise to create solutions that are resilient, scalable, and secure while keeping user experience at the heart of every decision.

You will act as the bridge between IT operations, architecture, business change teams, and external partners, delivering innovative solutions and ensuring a seamless transition from design to business-as-usual.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a world-class Microsoft 365 environment - including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, O365 conferencing, and related collaboration tools.
  • Develop technical roadmaps for the end-user estate, ensuring performance, resilience, and security.
  • Lead the introduction of new Microsoft 365 services and applications, from proof-of-concept to rollout and warranty.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on End User Compute, supporting medium-to-large technical projects.
  • Collaborate with architects, business change teams, and service desks to ensure smooth handover of new solutions.
  • Provide best-practice guidance to stakeholders and mentor colleagues on Microsoft 365 tools and adoption.

Key experience

  • Proven expertise in Microsoft 365 design and deployment across enterprise environments.
  • Strong background in Windows Server (2012+), hardware/software lifecycle management, and digital workspace operations.
  • Experience creating and presenting technical designs (HLD/LLD) to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, System Centre suite, and patch management tools (desirable).
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.
  • Agile and ITIL qualifications, plus relevant Microsoft certifications.
