Job description

I’m working with a growing, product-focused company in the cybersecurity space that’s looking to bring on a Full Stack Engineer.

About the role

You’ll be part of a small, experienced engineering team building and improving features across both the backend and frontend. The work is hands-on and product-driven, with a lot of collaboration across engineering, product, and design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain full-stack features across backend and frontend systems
  • Translate product and design requirements into scalable, maintainable code
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions
  • Solve complex challenges related to scalability, performance, and reliability
  • Contribute to engineering best practices, tooling, and processes

Required Experience

  • 3+ years of experience building full-stack applications
  • Experience developing enterprise SaaS products (cybersecurity experience is a plus)
  • Strong backend development experience using TypeScript and NestJS
  • Experience building APIs using REST and GraphQL and working with ORMs (e.g., Sequelize)
  • Strong frontend experience with React and modern UI frameworks
  • Experience working with relational (MySQL) and NoSQL databases
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation skills

Technical Skills

Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript, Chakra UI, React Query, GraphQL integration

Tools & Design: Ability to work from Figma designs and translate complex requirements into code

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in startups or high-growth environments
  • Exposure to AWS and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with workflow engines such as XState or Argo Workflows
  • Knowledge of infrastructure and networking fundamentals
