GTD5 Network Engineer

o Experience supporting migrations to softswitch o Strong interpersonal and communication skills o Knowledge of how GTD5 interacts with transport and IP elements Day-to-Day Responsibilities o Troubleshoot GTD5 switch issues and resolve hardware faults o Support customer calls related to circuit packs and alarms o Walk customers through changing circuit packs down to the shelf/slot level o Handle escalations and analyze Jira tickets o Provide translations and call processing support o Mentor junior team members when needed o Maintain accurate ticket documentation and updates o Participate in the on-call rotation every third week This is a direct hire opportunity. The selected candidate will be employed directly by our client. o 5-10 years of GTD5 switch troubleshooting experience o 5+ years of telephony troubleshooting experience o Strong Tier 3 hardware troubleshooting and fault isolation experience o GTD5 call processing and translations experience o Familiarity with central office procedures and policies o Jira ticketing experience o Ability to guide customers through changing circuit packs o Strong customer service and communication skills o Comfortable working a 24x7 rotating schedule, including on-call every third week o Must have troubleshooting experience (not provisioning only) o GTD5 debugging, translations, and troubleshooting o Hardware troubleshooting (circuit packs, shelves, slots) o Proficiency with Windows-based tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, etc.)
