Job description

  • Architectural Leadership: Make high-level design choices, set software coding/technical standards, and define multi-leveled architecture for large-scale enterprise systems. Collaborate with other architects to foster a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment.
  • Salesforce Application Development: Participate in the full SDLC to design and build applications on the Salesforce platform.
  • Database & Data Management: Write scripts to create and modify Oracle tables, indexes, triggers, stored procedures, and packages. Perform data manipulation and migration, including handling sensitive Protected Health Information (PHI).
  • Team Guidance & Mentorship: Guide, advise, and mentor state and consultant programmers in debugging, troubleshooting, securing, and deploying applications. Provide best practices for using Git/GitLab for code versioning and branching strategy.
  • Operations & Support: Diagnose and debug production issues via ITSM. Troubleshoot rules, calculations, and data issues in Crystal Reports.
  • Inter-Agency Collaboration: Participate in multi-agency technical sessions and coordinate release requests with ITS Chief Operating Office personnel.

Requirements

  • Salesforce Leadership: At least 84 months of experience working on projects with 3+ years in a leadership role on the Salesforce platform.
  • Salesforce Development: 84 months of experience with Apex (Classes, Triggers, Controllers), LWC, Aura Components, Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL.
  • Salesforce Automation & Security: 84 months of experience with Flow Builder (Record-Triggered, Screen, Autolaunched), Validation Rules, Custom Objects, and Security Models (OWDs, Sharing Rules, Profiles, Permission Sets).
  • Web Services & Integration: 84 months of experience designing and consuming custom REST and SOAP web services.
  • Secure Connections: 84 months of experience implementing OAuth 2.0 flows, JWT, Named Credentials, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
  • Integration Platforms: 36 months of experience with integration platforms like MuleSoft and Informatica.
  • DevOps & Version Control: 60 months of experience with Git/GitHub, VS Code, Salesforce CLI, SFDX, CI/CD tools (Copado, Gearset, Jenkins), Scratch Orgs, and Sandboxes.
  • AI & Advanced Tech: 24 months of experience integrating AI, prompt engineering, and unified data profiles into custom development.
  • Education: Bachelor’’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Any Salesforce Certified Architect certification.
