Job description

A leading financial services firm is seeking a Senior Java Developer to build and enhance critical Back Office and Middle Office platforms covering Settlements, Clearing and Prime Brokerage.

Requirements

  • Java 11+, Spring Boot and microservices
  • Multithreading and performance tuning
  • REST APIs and distributed systems
  • CI/CD, Git and Maven
  • TDD/BDD, JUnit and Mockito
  • SOLID principles and design patterns
  • Financial services or capital markets experience
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills

Desirable skills

  • Settlements, Clearing or Prime Brokerage expertise
  • Azure, AWS or GCP
  • Terraform and event-driven architecture
  • FIX, FIXML or FpML
  • Team leadership or mentoring experience
