Job description

Azure Software Engineer - (Outside IR35)

We are looking for an experienced Azure Software Engineer to join TLP Consultancy Ltd as an outside IR35 contract at Burgh Heath near Epsom, Surrey. Initial 6-month contract, daily rate £400-£450.

Scope of Services

Design, build and integrate services using Azure Functions, APIM, REST APIs, C#/.NET and JavaScript
Develop and support applications using Azure SQL / SQL MI
Deliver data pipelines and ETL workflows using Azure Data Factory, Databricks / Spark (Python) and Azure Storage
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure using ARM templates (Azure DevOps or GitHub)
Support testing, releases, monitoring and production stability
Collaborate with engineers and business stakeholders, including occasional onsite sessions

What You’ll Bring

3-5 years’ experience managing and developing production solutions on Microsoft Azure
Strong C#/.NET skills with systems integration experience
Hands-on experience with Azure integration and data services
Proven track record in enterprise or legacy modernisation programmes
Ability to deliver against defined scope, deliverables, and timelines
Comfortable working in a hybrid, stakeholder-led environment
