Job description

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

About the Team

The Multinational Digital Infrastructure team is responsible for designing, deploying, and sustaining the sovereign and multinational systems that power Anduril’s global Maritime and AUKUS missions. As a DevOps Engineer, you will design and implement developer productivity tooling that enable Anduril to effectively operate sovereign programs in the U.K. and Australia, as well as expanding to other nations as Anduril’s global presence increases. You will work across engineering, security, and product teams to ensure our digital infrastructure is secure, scalable, and ready to support fast paced software delivery.

What You’ll Do

  • Deploy and support our software engineering productivity tools, DevSecOps toolchains, and automated testing and release management infrastructure.
  • Implement infrastructure automation (IaC), observability tooling, and secure configuration baselines to support scalable, repeatable environment builds.
  • Work closely with software engineering and data science engineers to ensure they have the tools needed to deliver robust software at pace and scale.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a UK security clearance to SC level - see UK Security Vetting’s guidance pack for further details.
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM field or equivalent engineering experience.
  • Technical depth in one or more: DevSecOps, software engineering, infrastructure engineering, cloud infrastructure. Specific technology will include:
  • CI/CD - CircleCI, Gitlab
  • SCM - GitHub Enterprise
  • Docker, Kubernetes
  • Security Automation - Trivy, Grype, Defect Dojo, Haystack
  • Infrastructure as Code - Terraform
  • Cloud - AWS
  • 5+ years of relevant engineering, infrastructure, or technical program execution experience.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required - typically around 10%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with secure systems engineering, ideally within UK Government or Defence. Experience in other highly regulated industries may also be relevant - for example Financial Services, Energy or Healthcare.
  • Experience provisioning large enterprise cloud platforms for hundreds or thousands of users.
  • Experience designing or maintaining distributed systems, secure networks, or infrastructure supporting autonomy, AI/ML, or big data workloads.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across technical disciplines, influence without authority, and operate in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.
  • Experience working with international partners or navigating multi-nation technical or policy workflows.

Benefits
