Job description
At Aston Martin, our IT function sits at the heart of the business, delivering secure, stable and forward-thinking technology that keeps everything running seamlessly while enabling innovation and growth. We’re looking for an Identity & Access Management Specialist to play a key role in protecting our systems, data and people, ensuring the right access is given to the right individuals, at exactly the right time. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing security with usability and wants to make a real impact across a complex, enterprise-wide environment. You’ll be responsible for designing, implementing and continuously improving our identity and access controls across both on-premises and cloud environments. From managing joiner, mover and leaver processes, to strengthening privileged access and supporting audit and governance activities, you’ll help shape how we protect our digital landscape while enabling the business to operate and innovate at pace. Working closely with teams across IT, Cybersecurity and the wider business, you’ll influence how identity is managed across the organisation, bringing best practice, improving automation and driving consistency in how access is controlled and governed.
Requirements
We’re looking for someone with proven experience working with enterprise IAM solutions, who understands how to design and operate access control models such as RBAC and least privilege. You’ll be confident managing identities across on-premises and cloud platforms like Active Directory and Microsoft Entra and have experience supporting identity lifecycle processes that are both robust and auditable. Exposure to privileged access management, identity governance, or integrating IAM solutions with wider systems and applications would be a real advantage, as would experience working in regulated or complex environments. Above all, you’ll be someone who brings strong analytical thinking, takes ownership of outcomes, and can clearly communicate identity and access concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. You’ll be naturally curious, always looking for ways to improve processes, strengthen controls, and enhance the user experience. If you’re passionate about identity, security and making a tangible difference in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment, we’d love to hear from you.
