If you’re passionate about technology, innovative projects, and making a real impact, your place is here.We are a global technology provider with 65+ years of experience, delivering a comprehensive portfolio of solutions across ID & Digital Government, Banking & Payments, and Trusted Connectivity.Within our Trusted Connectivity business unit , we develop cutting-edge solutions for the telecommunications industry, ranging from SIM cards and eSIMs to Remote SIM Provisioning (RSP), Subscription Management, and secure connectivity services , connecting people, businesses, and devices worldwide.We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to install, configure, integrate, and support Remote SIM Provisioning (RSP) platforms for Consumer Devices, M2M, and IoT/eIM use cases.The successful candidate will have a strong background in SIM/eSIM technologies, RSP platforms, Orchestrator and OTA platforms, mobile network infrastructure, and GSMA RSP specifications , combined with strong experience in Linux-based environments, cloud technologies, automation, and infrastructure as code.This is a hybrid position based in Madrid , with a minimum requirement to work from the Madrid office at least twice per month .Site Reliability Engineering Ensure new features are validated in terms of performance, reliability, and scalability.Work together with the DevOps team to improve existing and implement new, effective CI/CD processes.Work together with Enablement Engineers to produce automation tools required for performance and reliability monitoring.Continuously evaluate and optimize system performance and capacity to maintain stable production platforms.Identify, assess, and implement measures to eliminate potential risks that could impact the performance of systems and services.Research, evaluate, test, and advise on the selection of appropriate technologies or tools to improve site reliability.Observability & Monitoring Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and execute pipeline optimization.Implement comprehensive service metrics to track and report on system reliability, performance, and efficiency.Capacity Planning & Performance Engineering Support forecasting, scaling, and performance tuning.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field .~3+ years of experience in telecommunications or related fields.~ Experience working in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure Operations, or similar roles .~ Strong experience with SIM/eSIM technologies .~ Experience deploying and supporting RSP applications in Linux-based environments and SQL database environments .~ Strong scripting and automation skills using Bash, Python, or similar languages .~ Experience with Infrastructure as Code , such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent technologies.~ Experience with modern cloud services, particularly Kubernetes, AWS EKS, RDS/Aurora , or equivalent technologies.~ English communication skills.~ Availability to work from the Madrid office at least twice per month ~ AWS certification.Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools .Join Valid and work on innovative, global technology projects within multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.Flexibility: flexible working hours and remote work options to support work-life balance.Well-being first: private medical insurance and life insurance.We are committed to equal opportunities, free from discrimination concerning sex, age, race, sexual orientation, religion, education, social status, culture, or special needs such as illness or disability.
