Job description

DevOps Engineer with TS/SCI FSP needed for a Direct Hire opportunity with SOC’s direct client for an onsite role based in Fort Meade, MD. Direct Hire Role Due to federal requirements, candidates must hold an Active DOW Top Secret/SCI Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph to be considered for this role. SOC is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in optimizing our development pipelines, ensuring seamless integration and deployment processes, and enhancing the overall reliability of our systems. You will collaborate with developers, system administrators, and stakeholders to implement innovative solutions that streamline workflows and promote efficiency. Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines
Automate infrastructure provisioning and management
Collaborate with development and operations teams
Ensure system reliability and scalability
Monitor and troubleshoot system performance
Document and maintain deployment processes

Requirements

Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP)
Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of DevOps Experience
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
Experience with containerization tools like Docker
Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation

Desired Qualifications:

Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
Knowledge of serverless architectures
Familiarity with security best practices in DevOps
Understanding of network automation
Experience with DevOps culture and agile methodologies
Ability to implement continuous testing practices, The following requirements must be met to be eligible for this position: successful completion of a background investigation and drug urinalysis.
