Job description

Performs complex and advanced architecture work in design, evaluation, planning, testing and operation in support of system development, engineering analysis and research.
Leads in the integration of processes and methodologies to ensure the performance of the total system.
Works directly with senior technical personnel, program managers, and external organizations in the planning, oversight, execution, and evaluation of multiple complex technical solutions related to a program’s system and technical product development.
Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of scientific principles and practices in broad areas across one or more technical disciplines.
Maintains a liaison role for technical matters with staff and customers and acts independently on technical issues within his/her field of expertise.
Will support the ATO and accreditation processes.
Responsible for developing and implementing cloud-applications, migrating existing on-premises applications to the cloud, debugging cloud stacks, managing policies for the use of cloud services, requests for new technology, establishing a secure cloud environment, ensuring appropriate availability/uptime design.

Requirements

Tech Experience with: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Red Hat Enterprise Linux and command-line interfaces, including Bash; cloud resources and Infrastructure-as-Code tools, including Terraform or Vault; Kubernetes; DNS, load balancing, and TLS
8-10 years of experience
Bachelor Degree in related field or in lieu of degree 4 additional years of Experience
TS security clearance
