Job description

Client is seeking a Senior Technical Engineer to design and develop centralized technology solutions that improve vulnerability management, remediation tracking, security reporting, and operational efficiency., * Design and develop centralized vulnerability-management and remediation-tracking platforms.

  • Build security automation tools, workflows, APIs, and system integrations.
  • Identify manual security and operational processes that can be automated.
  • Integrate security data across tools such as Wiz, Qualys, Archer, and ServiceNow.
  • Develop executive and operational security dashboards.
  • Build solutions for vulnerability ownership, prioritization, and remediation tracking.
  • Develop applications using Python, Java, C#, or similar technologies.
  • Design secure APIs and integrations between security, cloud, and engineering platforms.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
  • Build and deploy solutions in AWS or Azure environments.
  • Provide technical direction and mentor other engineers.
  • Partner with security, infrastructure, engineering, and business teams.
  • Explore AI-enabled solutions that improve security operations.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong software engineering background with hands-on experience in security automation, cloud platforms, API development, and vulnerability-management tools., * Minimum 10 years of software engineering experience.

  • Strong experience with security automation and vulnerability management.
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, C#, or a similar programming language.
  • Strong API development and system-integration experience.
  • Hands-on cloud engineering experience with AWS or Azure.
  • Experience with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices.
  • Experience with data engineering, analytics, and dashboard development.
  • Understanding of enterprise application architecture and platform design.
  • Experience with tools such as Wiz, Qualys, Archer, or ServiceNow.
  • Strong problem-solving, technical-leadership, and communication skills.
