Job description

Parsons is searching for a professional to support development, integration, testing, and ongoing execution of in-house machine learning research on multi-agent reinforcement learning.

What You’ll Be Doing :

  • This work will include conducting experiments on the effectiveness, efficiency, and scalability of deployed machine learning (ML) solutions.
  • Formulating and testing hypotheses via implementing compute-efficient AI/ML training methods, applying statistics, and performing data analysis

Requirements

  • Required: B.S. in Computer Science or Engineering and 5+ years of post-degree machine learning experience, or M.S. in Computer Science or Engineering and 2+ years of experience, or Ph.D. in relevant field
  • High proficiency in Python with a strong background in writing modular, testable, and maintainable codebases
  • Framework fluency with data science tools and libraries (NumPy, Pandas, etc) and at least one deep learning framework (PyTorch or TensorFlow)
  • Familiarity with virtual environment tools such as Conda/uv/Poetry, or Docker containerization
  • Experience with Git and software development best practices, and working within Linux systems
  • The ability to work both individually and in a multi-team development project
  • Communicate methods and findings through publication manuscripts
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with reinforcement learning or multi-agent systems
  • Experience running experiments on HPC or cloud systems, and tracking results for later analysis between machines (Trackio / Weights & Biases / Tensorboard with neat file management)

Salary Range: $103,500.00 - $181,100.00
