Job description
Insight Global is looking for a Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and supporting enterprise IT infrastructure across Windows-based servers, workstations, and virtual environments. On a daily basis, they will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, manage Active Directory accounts, perform system updates and vulnerability remediation, and ensure systems remain compliant with DoD and DOE cybersecurity standards. This individual will coordinate the installation and removal of IT equipment, support classified network environments, and document troubleshooting activities and corrective actions. They will also work closely with end users and technical teams to provide training, resolve technical challenges, and ensure the reliability and security of mission-critical systems. Strong organizational skills are essential, as the role requires balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment., Administer and maintain Windows servers, workstations, and enterprise applications. Manage physical and virtual server environments. Support Active Directory, user account administration, and access management. Perform system patching, software updates, and lifecycle management activities. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues. Conduct vulnerability management and implement security remediation measures. Install, configure, relocate, and decommission IT equipment. Support classified computing environments and maintain compliance with cybersecurity requirements. Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and corrective action reports. Provide hands-on technical support and instruction to customer personnel. Coordinate with technical teams to ensure system reliability, availability, and security. Maintain required certifications, training, and operational qualifications.
Requirements
Active DoD Top Secret Clearance or DOE Q Clearance (or ability to obtain DOE Q upon hire). High School Diploma with 5+ years of relevant IT experience OR Associate’s Degree with 3+ years of relevant IT experience. Experience supporting: Windows Servers and Windows Clients Physical and Virtual Servers Enterprise Applications and Databases Active Directory Administration Account Management and Vulnerability Management Software Updates and Lifecycle Management Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and system issues. CompTIA Security+ CE (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
Benefits & conditions
$30/hr to $40/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
