  • Lead on-premises to cloud migration initiatives, including application modernization and infrastructure transformation.
  • Design highly available and resilient architectures using AWS multi-AZ/multi-region and Azure capabilities.
  • Architect and implement cloud-native infrastructure using Terraform and other Infrastructure-as-Code technologies.
  • Develop reusable Terraform modules for AWS and Azure resources including VPCs, EC2, EKS, RDS, load balancers, security groups, and storage.
  • Design and implement Kubernetes platforms using Amazon EKS and Azure AKS for containerized applications.
  • Support modernization of monolithic applications into microservices and containerized architectures.
  • Design enterprise networking architectures, including VPC, Transit Gateway, hub-and-spoke connectivity, load balancing, CDN, and connectivity to on-premises data centers.
  • Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Argo CD.
  • Implement DevSecOps practices by integrating security and code-quality tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, and secrets-scanning solutions.
  • Establish cloud security controls including RBAC, IAM, OIDC, MFA, identity federation, encryption, and secure access management.
  • Design cloud disaster recovery solutions and ensure high availability, scalability, resiliency, and business continuity.
  • Work with database teams to migrate and deploy Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, and cloud database platforms.
  • Support enterprise messaging and event-driven architectures using Kafka, RabbitMQ, and ActiveMQ.
  • Implement cloud monitoring and observability using Splunk, Datadog, AppDynamics, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to engineering and DevOps teams.
  • Collaborate with application developers, security teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable cloud architectures.
  • Evaluate new cloud technologies and recommend solutions based on performance, security, scalability, and cost optimization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, solutions architecture, DevOps, or related technology roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, migration, high availability, disaster recovery, and multi-region environments.
  • Extensive experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, preferably AWS EKS and/or Azure AKS.
  • Strong experience with Docker and containerized application environments.
  • Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Argo CD.
  • Strong understanding of cloud networking including VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, security groups, load balancers, Transit Gateway, and hybrid connectivity.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, including IAM/RBAC, OIDC, MFA, identity federation, encryption, and secrets management.
  • Experience with scripting/automation using Python, Shell, PowerShell, or Ansible.
  • Experience working with enterprise databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, or cloud database services.
  • Strong communication, architecture documentation, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
