Job description

This is a hands-on, customer-facing opportunity where you’ll help shape technical architecture, influence key technology decisions and work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The Role

  • Define and apply technical architecture requirements for complex solutions.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into clear design documentation.
  • Make informed decisions around technology, infrastructure, networks and security.
  • Apply established design patterns and architectural principles.
  • Work hands-on with relevant technology stacks across projects.
  • Collaborate with customers, technical teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Contribute to solution reviews and technical governance.

Requirements

  • Strong experience working in a Technical Architecture role.
  • Ability to distinguish between functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of design patterns and architectural principles.
  • Experience translating requirements into actionable technical designs.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in at least one of the following:
  • DevOps environments
  • Enterprise software development
  • Functional and non-functional testing
  • Technical leadership / SME responsibilities
  • Presenting solutions to governance boards or senior/C-suite stakeholders

Desirable

  • Experience assessing new technologies and approaches for project applicability.
  • Experience conducting solution and architecture reviews.
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior technical professionals.

Security Clearance

Due to the nature of the work, you’ll need to be willing to undergo a Security Clearance process, requiring 5+ years of UK address history at the point of application.
