Job description
This is a hands-on, customer-facing opportunity where you’ll help shape technical architecture, influence key technology decisions and work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The Role
- Define and apply technical architecture requirements for complex solutions.
- Translate business and technical requirements into clear design documentation.
- Make informed decisions around technology, infrastructure, networks and security.
- Apply established design patterns and architectural principles.
- Work hands-on with relevant technology stacks across projects.
- Collaborate with customers, technical teams and senior stakeholders.
- Contribute to solution reviews and technical governance.

Requirements
- Strong experience working in a Technical Architecture role.
- Ability to distinguish between functional and non-functional requirements.
- Strong knowledge of design patterns and architectural principles.
- Experience translating requirements into actionable technical designs.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in at least one of the following:
- DevOps environments
- Enterprise software development
- Functional and non-functional testing
- Technical leadership / SME responsibilities
- Presenting solutions to governance boards or senior/C-suite stakeholders
Desirable
- Experience assessing new technologies and approaches for project applicability.
- Experience conducting solution and architecture reviews.
- Experience mentoring and developing junior technical professionals.
Security Clearance
Due to the nature of the work, you’ll need to be willing to undergo a Security Clearance process, requiring 5+ years of UK address history at the point of application.
