EMR Systems Analyst

Under the direction of the EMR Systems Administrator, the EMR Systems Analyst supports the organization’s electronic medical record (EMR) system and data warehouse by analyzing data, maintaining system integrity, troubleshooting issues, and providing reporting and technical support.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze EMR data and develop reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking tools
• Provide Help Desk support and troubleshoot EMR-related issues
• Support data integrity, privacy, security, and compliance efforts
• Assist with EMR system maintenance, upgrades, and process improvements
• Monitor system usage and help identify security or access concerns
• Collaborate with teams to support audits, accreditation, and quality improvement initiatives
• Produce data visualizations and reports to support operational and clinical decision-making
• Train and support staff in effective EMR system use

Do you have experience in Training?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university in health information management, computer science, information technology, information management, business or related field, or any combination of skills and experiences equal to this level of education.

Preferred Education / Certification/Licensure

• Certifications in database administration, programming, or other technologies (e.g., CompTIA+, Cisco, ISACA, Microsoft, etc.).
• Project Management Certification (e.g., CompTIA+, Cisco, ISACA, Microsoft, PMP, etc.).
