Arizona-based Verra Mobility Corp. currently operates in 15 countries and in 22 languagesWe are growing quickly in Europe, and we are currently hiring a SW Developer to work with a multi-disciplinary team of software developers, subject matter experts and solutions architects to deliver cloud-based mobility solutions for our customers.If you enjoy contributing with a team of diverse engineers spread across multiple locations and have 5+ years of experience in PHP Symfony and AWS, this is the job you are looking for.What you’ll do:· Develop high-level and low-level design document to be used by team members for development.· Actively participate in code reviews to ensure coding standards are enforced and adequate code coverage is maintained.· Diagnose and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments.· Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget.· Provide technical support to ensure that all functionality is properly designed, developed, tested, and delivered as per the requirements.· Testing and deploying programs and systems.· Fixing and improving existing software.· Ensure internal company policies are followed on-time and accurately.What we’re looking for:· English: C1· Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science, or related discipline.· 5+ years of experience in PHP Symfony backend and frontend: writing well-designed, high-quality code.· Eager to learn and face new challenges.· Demonstrated knowledge of software engineering principles (programming patterns, standard algorithms, data structures, multiprocessing).· Database design skills and experience in writing high performance database queries.· Proven experience in setting up and operating in scaled and distributed environments.We’d be particularly excited if you have:· Experience in AWS and cloud technologies: microservices, test automation tools, CI pipelines, Cloud, and containerization technologies.· Hands on knowledge of GoLang, React or C#.· Good communication skills.
