Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading technology consulting firm, who are looking for a Salesforce Enterprise Architect to join on an initial 12-month Fixed term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape architectural standards and governance within a high-profile programme, while working across cutting-edge technologies such as Salesforce, Google Cloud Platform, AWS, and Azure. This role is based in London two days per week and offers either a competitive day rate or a permanent salary.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and enforce architectural principles, governance models, and standards to ensure organisational consistency.
- Act as Design Authority by reviewing, approving, and challenging technical and process solutions.
- Lead fortnightly Architecture and Design Review Board meetings to align stakeholders and resolve issues.
- Maintain architectural integrity, scalability, and risk mitigation across the programme lifecycle.
- Oversee compliance, privacy, and data security in alignment with regulatory requirements (e.g. SOX).
- Provide strategic oversight while supporting agile, incremental delivery towards go-live.
Skills and Experience
- Proven track record as a Salesforce Architect within large and complex enterprise organisations.
- In addition to strong Salesforce experience, a strong background across cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS and/or Azure.
- Deep understanding of architectural governance, risk mitigation, and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and the ability to balance technical detail with business objectives.
- Clear communication and leadership skills to drive design decisions and ensure consistency across systems.
