Job description
Install, configure, maintain, patch, and monitor middleware messaging and application server environments across enterprise platforms.

Troubleshoot production issues, resolve system outages, and ensure high availability of messaging and application services.

Manage application deployments, web services, encryption certificates, and secure messaging transactions.

Optimize system performance through capacity planning, load balancing, stress testing, and performance tuning.

Design and support enterprise service bus (ESB) and middleware infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and disaster recovery.

Develop and maintain business continuity, backup, and disaster recovery strategies for critical systems.

Support application and web service developers throughout the software development lifecycle and deployment process.

Ensure compliance with change management, security, and operational standards.

Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.

Collaborate with internal teams, management, and vendors to support infrastructure initiatives and system enhancements., One of Insight Global’s clients is seeking a Middleware Administrator to join their team. This individual will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and optimizing enterprise middleware, messaging, and application server environments. They will focus on ensuring the availability, security, performance, and scalability of critical systems. Through the administration of technologies such as IBM WebSphere, MQ, and related integration platforms. Additionally, they will support application deployments, monitor system health, troubleshoot production issues, and help drive disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives. This person will also collaborate closely with developers, infrastructure teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to support the software development lifecycle. Finally, they will implement system improvements and maintain reliable and secure enterprise operations. This roles target pay is $55hr- $60hr.
Requirements
8+ years of experience in systems administration and middleware platform management.
-Hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere MQ, WebSphere Application Server, IBM Integration Bus (IIB), App Connect Enterprise (ACE), and Message Broker.
-Strong administration experience across Unix/Linux, Windows, and z/OS environments.
-Knowledge of middleware software development lifecycle and enterprise application deployments.
-Understanding of J2EE technologies (EJB, JSP, Servlets, HTTP Sessions).
-Familiarity with Internet and networking concepts including TCP/IP, SSL, HTTP, Firewalls, and Web Services (SOAP/WSDL).
-Experience working with XML and HTML. -Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
