Job description

Kforce has a client in Earth City, MO that is seeking a .NET Developer., We are seeking .NET Developers to help transition from a legacy system to a modern, cloud-based architecture. This is a 4-6 month engagement with potential for full-time conversion based on performance and future budget approval.

The team is replacing outdated batch data processes (e.g., CSV file transfers) with real-time, API-driven integrations to improve data flow across ~700 locations. This is a priority effort over the next 6-8 months.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Design and build RESTful APIs in a cloud environment
  • Support real-time data integration (orders, customers, products, pricing)
  • Develop services for inbound/outbound data flows
  • Participate in microservices architecture and design
  • Perform unit and integration testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Requirements

  • Strong C# and modern .NET experience
  • Experience in Azure (preferred) or similar cloud platforms
  • Experience with testing best practices
  • API development and system integration background
  • Backend development expertise
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture

Nice to Have:

  • Event-driven or messaging system experience
  • Angular or front-end exposure

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
