In this role, you’ll design, develop, and optimize reporting solutions, data models, and database systems that deliver critical business insights across the organization. You’ll work with modern Microsoft data technologies, collaborate with stakeholders across departments, and play a key role in ensuring data is accurate, accessible, and actionable. What You’ll DoReporting & AnalyticsPartner with business stakeholders to gather and define reporting requirements.Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise reporting solutions.Create and manage reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI.Support reporting needs for both internal users and external business partners.Deliver ad hoc analysis and database query support for management and executive teams.Provide user support, training, and documentation for reporting tools and dashboards. Data Modeling & Database DevelopmentDesign, maintain, and improve enterprise relational data models.Build and optimize SQL tables, views, functions, and stored procedures.Evaluate and implement enhancements to data structures and reporting databases.Analyze business requirements and recommend efficient database solutions.Support and improve Microsoft Access applications and user interfaces. Integration & AutomationDevelop and maintain ETL and integration processes using Microsoft technologies.Create and manage SQL Agent jobs and automated file delivery solutions.Support data integrations across multiple platforms and systems.Monitor processing schedules and ensure reliable data flow across the organization. Database Administration & PerformanceMonitor and optimize database and reporting

Requirements

What You’ll BringRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.3+ years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, database development, or related fields.Strong SQL Server skills, including complex queries, joins, and stored procedures.Experience with:SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)Power BISQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)Visual StudioProficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.Strong understanding of relational database concepts, data modeling, and data integrity practices.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred QualificationsExperience with SQL Administration and SQL Agent Jobs.Familiarity with SFTP tools such as WinSCP.Experience working in financial services, insurance, or other regulated industries.Knowledge of Azure cloud technologies and cloud-based data platforms.Experience with Azure Data Factory, Workato, PowerShell, Azure DevOps, or CI/CD processes.Familiarity with big data environments and cloud-native data solutions.
