About The Role:

OCS is seeking a Security Systems Project Engineer to maintain and enhance our relationships with esteemed clients in multiple sectors including Public, Private, Construction, Retail and Sports venues.

The selected candidate must work collaboratively with team members and interact with clients and other trades in a professional and tactful manner, thereby positively representing the Company.

This role requires regular site visits, emphasising a customer-centric approach at all times. The Security Engineer will report directly to the Local Service Manager.

Roles / Responsibilities

  • Oversee the delivery of security systems projects
  • Lead by example with proven leadership qualities.
  • Assist in the training and development of the engineers.
  • Installation, commissioning and configuration of enterprise level integrated security systems.
  • Carry out and prepare risk assessments & methods statements
  • Work closely with vendors, clients and end users
  • Working knowledge of the relevant British and European standards
  • Carry out preventative maintenance audit checks where required.
  • Develop project plans, with project and operational management team
  • Carry out site surveys on behalf of sales team providing strong technical guidance.
  • Compile reports on engineer and site audits
  • Identify new technology that could be implemented.

Experience.

A minimum of three - five years’ experience in a similar role working with Enterprise solutions including Axis, Dallmeier, Lenel, Milestone, Synectics , Salto, Gallagher preferred though not essential. Candidates demonstrating a strong aptitude for learning and experience with similar Enterprise solutions will be considered for investment in training.

  • SC cleared (Preferred)
  • IPAF
  • PASMA
  • SSSTS
  • First Aid
  • Manufacturer Training
