Join a regulated FinTech transforming global payments. Shape the future of financial services as part of a new strategic team backed by Banking Circle’s international payment rails. We’re transforming how businesses access account-to-account payments, card issuing, and financial services across UK, EU, and US markets.

You’ll rebuild critical client-facing applications from the ground up, pioneering our move to Node.js/React and API-first architecture.

What You’ll Build

Client Portal & Onboarding Transformation

• Redesign complex financial workflows into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces
• Build secure, compliant applications handling sensitive financial data
• Create seamless onboarding experiences for businesses across multiple jurisdictions

Technical Innovation

• Pioneer Node.js adoption within our established Ruby/MySQL/AWS infrastructure
• Architect robust middleware solutions connecting frontend experiences to financial services
• Implement secure OIDC/OAuth flows for multi-tenant financial applications

Strategic Impact

• Lead migration from legacy technologies to modern React/Node.js ecosystem
• Establish development patterns for our expanding Node.js capabilities
• Showcase innovations to stakeholders in bi-monthly London sessions

The Developer We’re Seeking

• Curious nature with deep interest in how financial technology works
• Customer UX first approach - understanding that in FinTech, user experience directly impacts business success
• Security-conscious thinking appropriate for regulated financial service
• Experience in financial services highly desirable

Technical Excellence

• 3-5 years full stack development experience
• Strong Node.js skills for middleware development (new to our stack - you’ll help shape our approach)
• React.js expertise with modern development practices
• Frontend design skills - ability to create professional, trustworthy financial interfaces
• OIDC/OAuth knowledge essential for secure financial applications

Current Stack

• Ruby backend with MySQL database
• AWS infrastructure with containerised deployments
• GitHub for version control and collaboration

Your Focus

Node.js/React frontend transformation (new strategic direction)
