Overview
Are you passionate about driving innovation in electrical systems? We’re seeking the Product Owner to lead the delivery and integration of a cutting-edge Electrical Power Supply System, with a strong focus on efficiency and energy management. This is a pivotal role based in the Midlands, UK, offered on an initial 12-month contract, blending technical expertise with strategic vision to ensure seamless collaboration across cross-functional teams and alignment with customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and champion strategies for electrical energy efficiency, representing the customer voice throughout feature development.
- Create tools and present concepts for electrical energy management to diverse stakeholders.
- Influence and collaborate across functions, leveraging natural leadership and interpersonal warmth.
- Act as the primary liaison for Electrical Energy Management (EEM), ensuring consistent understanding across engineering teams.
- Track and assess changes, update requirements, and communicate impacts across vehicle programmes.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of power supply systems and electrical architectures
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in feature development and automotive system integration
- Solid understanding of systems engineering principles and V-model development
- Experience with CAE modelling tools
- Familiarity with requirements management tools (e.g., Dassault TRM, IBM DOORS)
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in an engineering discipline
