Business Software Netsuite Suitescript

Job description

Know your way around NetSuite? Looking for a role where you can genuinely own the platform rather than just keep the lights on? Peaple Talent are partnering with a growing business to recruit an Applications Support Engineer to become the in-house expert for NetSuite and their wider business applications.

Following a successful NetSuite implementation, they’re now looking for someone to take ownership of the platform, drive improvements and become the go-to person for the business. If you enjoy solving problems, improving processes and working closely with stakeholders, this could be a fantastic opportunity.

Location: Milton Keynes (1-2 days per month in the office)

Salary: Up to £65,000

The role

You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day support and continuous improvement of NetSuite, whilst working closely with Finance, HR and Commercial teams to understand requirements, prioritise change requests and improve the way the platform is used across the business.

You’ll be:

  • Owning the support and ongoing development of NetSuite across the business.
  • Managing a backlog of change requests and prioritising work with key stakeholders.
  • Working with third-party partners to deliver enhancements and technical changes.
  • Providing 2nd/3rd line support across NetSuite and other business applications.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve business processes and drive efficiencies.

One of the biggest attractions of this role is the opportunity to really make it your own. The business has recently implemented NetSuite and is now looking for someone to shape how it’s supported and developed moving forward, giving you real visibility across the organisation and the chance to influence future technology decisions.

About you

  • Experience supporting NetSuite in a standalone Applications Support or Systems Support role
  • Be comfortable working directly with business stakeholders
  • Be able to balance BAU support with continuous improvement
  • Experience with scripting, integrations or SuiteScript would be beneficial, but isn’t essential

What’s on offer?

  • Salary of £60,000- £65,000
  • Hybrid working (typically 1-2 days per month in Milton Keynes)
  • Genuine ownership of the NetSuite platform
  • High-profile role with the opportunity to shape future improvements
  • Long-term progression as the applications function continues to grow
