Job description
Role:
UX Designer (titled internally as UX Engineer)
Salary:
Up to £60,000 + benefits
What You’ll Do
- Design intuitive, user-focused web application interfaces used in professional environments.
- Collaborate with engineers to deliver simple, consistent design solutions for complex data-heavy workflows.
- Contribute to and evolve an internal design system and component library.
- Champion accessibility and inclusive design practices across multiple projects.
- Engage directly with internal stakeholders to translate user needs into functional, visually refined designs.
What We’re Looking For
- A strong, well-structured portfolio showcasing interaction design, accessibility, and UI craft.
- Experience working in multi-project or professional/regulated environments such as law, finance, or healthcare.
- Fluency in Figma (or similar tools) and confidence collaborating with developers.
- Solid grasp of UX principles, component-based design, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Bonus: Hands-on experience/understanding of HTML, CSS, or front-end frameworks to communicate effectively with engineers.
