Job description

Take ownership of trade management system buildouts at one of the most successful macro funds in the world.

This is a fund that hires the brightest technologists it can find and puts them right at the centre of how the business operates. Technology is not a support function here. It is a core part of how alpha gets generated, and you will feel that from day one.

You are leading the design and development of the order management system, working directly with portfolio managers to understand what they need and building the tools that help them trade better. You are shaping the architecture, making the key decisions, and driving the buildouts end to end.

You will sit close to the front office, not separated from it. Portfolio managers come to you with problems. You solve them. The feedback loop is tight and the impact of your work is visible.

The team around you is exceptional. These are people who take their craft seriously, move quickly, and care deeply about getting things right. The culture rewards ownership and clear thinking over hierarchy and process.

Your background is in C++ and Python, and you have spent meaningful time in front-office technology. You have led buildouts before and you understand the full investment lifecycle from order generation through to settlement. You know how trade management systems behave under pressure and you have the scars to prove it.

Ready to stop being one of many and start being the person who owns it?
