Job description

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Java development, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies. You will be responsible for designing and building scalable applications, integrating APIs, and contributing to the overall software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles using Core and Advanced Java.
  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and Spring Core.
  • Build and manage microservices-based applications.
  • Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, OpenShift V3, or Spring Cloud.
  • Utilize tools like Maven or Gradle for build automation.
  • Deploy applications on servers such as JBoss or Tomcat.
  • Write and maintain Linux/UNIX shell scripts.
  • Integrate with SOAP and Exec APIs.
  • Apply design patterns and architectural best practices.

Skills Required

  • Strong knowledge of Core Java and Advanced Java.
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices.
  • Familiarity with Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Nexus.
  • Experience with Oracle databases.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, OpenShift V3, Spring Cloud).
  • Proficiency in Git and Linux/UNIX shell scripting.
  • Understanding of SOAP and Exec APIs.
  • Knowledge of JBoss/Tomcat server environments.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
