Network Infrastructure Analyst #11316

Purpose: Conduct comprehensive network infrastructure assessments and provide detailed analysis to ensure network readiness for Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) deployment across Federal facilities.

Scope, perform the following tasks:

· Network Infrastructure Analysis

· Conduct comprehensive analysis of facility Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), and Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) infrastructure changes required to support EHRM deployment scope.

Analysis shall encompass:

· Wiring closets

· Computer rooms

· Inter-building wiring

· Mobile buses

· All forward deployed hardware locations

· Computer Room and Infrastructure Assessment

Analyze and document computer room requirements including:

· Power capacity and distribution

· Cooling systems and capacity

· Physical space availability

· Network, inter-device, and power connections

· Forward deployed server network requirements per rack

· Facility-wide infrastructure needs

· Mobile and remote site requirements

· Specific installation locations and timeline requirements

Network Capacity and Performance Analysis, evaluate and document:

· Current network capacity baseline

· Projected capacity requirements for EHRM systems

· Identification of capacity gaps and upgrade requirements

· Recommendations for network modifications to support optimal performance of Contractor systems and devices.

· Network Readiness Documentation

· Provide detailed documentation including:

· Complete LAN and WLAN configuration specifications

· Network performance metrics and benchmarks

· Security configuration and compliance status

· Wireless coverage maps and analysis

· Comprehensive network readiness assessment for all facilities designated to run EHRM applications

Expectations:

· Willing to travel up to 50% as needed

· Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

· Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures,

understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate

action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position

· Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Do you have experience in WAN?, *Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a Federal Security Clearance (Public Trust) due to the government nature of this project., * Do you have an Active Public Trust Clearance?

• Are you experienced assessing networking infrastructure, LAN, WAN, and WLAN?
• Are you experienced performing a comprehensive analysis of networks projecting capacity requirements and gaps, upgrade requirements, Network performance metrics, security configuration and compliance status?
