QA Tester

Responsibilities

• Involved in the development of a diverse range of projects.
• Active part of the development team.
• Helping shape and expand Agile working practices.
• Working with complex systems and applications.
• Analyse requirements and user stories and help provide acceptance criteria.
• Feed into non-functional testing requirements.
• Exploratory testing.
• Communication with the development team and project stakeholders.
• Reporting on test outcomes at the level required for the project.
• Test gap analysis - identifying scenarios to be tested and/or automated.
• Ensuring quality of products as they move from prototype / proof of concept into Production.

Requirements and skills

• A passion for testing.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with Agile methodology and exploratory testing.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Working knowledge of testing tools and test management software.
• Versatility, analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Willingness to undergo Security Clearance.
