Job Title: Front End React Developer (WebGL) - Contract

Start Date: ASAP

Overview:

We’re looking for a skilled Front End React Developer with hands-on experience in WebGL to join our team on a contract basis. You’ll be working on a cutting-edge digital product that requires high-performance, interactive visual experiences. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a technically exciting project in a flexible, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain interactive, high-performance web applications using React.js and WebGL
Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to deliver immersive user experiences
Translate complex visual and interactive requirements into scalable front-end solutions
Maintain clean, modular, and well-documented code
Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to technical discussions

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong commercial experience with React.js
Proven experience with WebGL (e.g., Three.js, Babylon.js or raw WebGL)
Experience with state management (Redux, Zustand, etc.)
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end with backend services
Strong debugging and performance optimisation skills
Experience working in agile teams and using Git-based workflows
Experience with TypeScript
Familiarity with Next.js or other SSR frameworks
Exposure to 3D modelling tools or pipelines (e.g., Blender, glTF)
Understanding of accessibility and responsive design
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
