  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot wired, wireless, internet, and event-specific networking solutions.
  • Provide on-site technical support during event build, live operations, and breakdown periods.
  • Maintain and administer corporate network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, switches, routers, servers, storage, virtualisation, backup, and cloud platforms.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance, proactively resolve issues, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Deliver 2nd and 3rd line support for network and infrastructure incidents, changes, and service requests.
  • Perform routine maintenance, patching, upgrades, and health checks.
  • Support cyber security initiatives, including firewall management, access controls, vulnerability remediation, security monitoring, and disaster recovery testing.
  • Contribute to infrastructure and networking projects, technology upgrades, and business transformation initiatives.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to system performance, resilience, and operational efficiency.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience supporting enterprise network and infrastructure environments.
  • Strong knowledge of networking technologies, including wired/wireless networks, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with switches, routers, firewalls, wireless infrastructure, Microsoft server/cloud technologies, and virtualisation platforms.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with IT service management processes and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Experience with Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Azure, Microsoft 365, network monitoring tools, SD-WAN, and high-density Wi-Fi environments is advantageous.
  • Experience supporting event venues, exhibitions, hospitality, stadiums, arenas, or other large public-facing environments is desirable.
  • Relevant degree, apprenticeship, equivalent experience, or industry certifications (e.g. CCNA/CCNP, Aruba, Fortinet, Azure, ITIL).

Any offer of employment will be subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks. These may include verification of identity, proof of address, right to work, employment history, qualifications, and-where relevant to the role-a basic or enhanced DBS check. All checks will be carried out in line with data protection law and we will only request information that is necessary for the role.

We are committed to active inclusion, diversity, and equal opportunities. We welcome discussions about flexible working arrangements.

If you need reasonable adjustments at any stage of our recruitment process, please let us know in your application.
