Job description

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Digital Product Owner specialising in Identity and Access Management, to join our e-Commerce Team, taking ownership of account management, authentication, and user profile areas.

This role is central to enhancing our user experience and ensuring secure, personalised interactions across our platforms.

You’ll own the product roadmap for Identity and Access Management (IAM), delivering robust, secure, and seamless authentication and authorisation across all user journeys.

As we evolve our personalisation capabilities through the integration of a Customer Data Platform (CDP), you’ll work closely with other product owners and teams across the business to ensure IAM foundations are in place to support personalised and secure user experiences. While you won’t own the personalisation strategy itself, your work will be critical to enabling it. You'll also shape the My Account area, ensuring it supports personalised journeys, loyalty features, and a user-centric experience.

This is a permanent opportunity, located at our Luton Head office! (Hybrid Working)

What you’ll be doing

  • Manage product backlogs, quarterly roadmaps, KPIs and contributing to the broader identity management strategy
  • Lead Agile ceremonies alongside delivery managers, including 3 amigos sessions, refinement sessions, sprint planning, and retros, while supporting the team in delivering value iteratively and continuously
  • Maintain a prioritised backlog of clearly articulated EPICs and User Stories
  • Own and evolve the roadmap for account management and authentication, delivering secure, scalable and user-friendly identity experiences.
  • Drive improvements to the My Account area, with a focus on usability, trust, flexibility for personalisation and loyalty features
  • Champion UX and Accessibility best practices to create inclusive, frictionless experiences for all users
  • Partner with Digital Security, Legal, Customer Service and Analytics teams to ensure that solutions address real customer problems and strike the right balance between frictionless customer experience and cybersecurity best practices
  • Use customer insights, data and experimentation to make evidence-based decisions, not assumptions
  • Participate in quarterly Planning with the wider team
  • Bring innovation and creative thinking to how we support customers, challenging the status quo with a clear product mindset
  • Own the full end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery through to delivery, iteration and success measurement

  • Expert knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems, including encryption, threat detection, and account lifecycle management.
