Backend Software Engineer C++ Rust Low Latency Trading
Opportunity to join a hugely profitable High Frequency Trading firm specializing in crypto markets. You will design and develop high throughput backend services for microsecond real-time risk, pricing, trading engines, and market-making systems, working across the full software development lifecycle using Rust, with some legacy C++ support.
Location / WFH
Central London office with flexibility to work from home 1-2 days a week.
About you
- Strong backend OOP, multithreaded engineering experience with C++ and proficiency in Rust.
- Experience building high-throughput, low-latency systems (microseconds/nanoseconds) in finance or gaming.
- Solid understanding of low-level system design, OS, networking, socket programming, hardware, compilers, and FPGA.
- 2.1 or above in Computer Science from a top-tier university.
- Collaborative, pragmatic, excellent communication and stakeholder management; some leadership or mentoring experience.
