Data Analyst

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Data & Reporting Analyst to take ownership of reporting, analytics, and performance management within a critical operational function.

Working closely with senior stakeholders and operational teams, you’ll analyse complex datasets, create impactful dashboards, and provide actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision making. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring data integrity, identifying performance trends, and helping the business uncover opportunities for improvement., * Lead the development and delivery of performance reporting and management information.

• Analyse complex data sets to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Design and maintain insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel.
• Develop performance measures and KPIs that support organisational objectives.
• Ensure robust data quality standards, validation processes, and governance practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to understand reporting requirements and deliver meaningful insights.
• Investigate data anomalies, challenge assumptions, and provide recommendations based on evidence.
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes and business performance monitoring.

You’ll ideally have:

• Proven experience within a Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst, MI Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role.
• Experience designing and improving reporting frameworks, processes, and performance measures.
• Strong capability in gathering, managing, analysing, and interpreting complex data from multiple sources.
• Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query.
• Good working knowledge of Power BI and dashboard development.
• A natural curiosity and passion for uncovering insights through data.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Confidence to challenge data quality issues and investigate inconsistencies.
• The ability to communicate complex findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
• HND, Degree, Level 5 qualification, or equivalent relevant experience.

12-Month Fixed-Term Contract l Up to £45,000 based on experience
