Job description
The End-to-End (E2E) Test Lead is responsible for leading testing activities across complex banking programs, ensuring high-quality delivery through effective test planning, execution, automation, defect management, and stakeholder collaboration. The role drives testing strategy, risk management, and continuous improvement while leading testing teams across multiple applications and platforms.
Hybrid working :
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Your Role:
- Define and manage end-to-end test strategy, scope, and plans.
- Lead test execution, defect management, and reporting across projects.
- Drive test automation adoption, framework improvements, and tool selection.
- Manage test environments, test data, and integration dependencies.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure adequate test coverage.
- Collaborate with business, development, architecture, and delivery teams.
- Monitor testing progress, identify risks, and escalate issues proactively.
- Mentor and support test analysts and junior team members.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
Requirements
- Strong experience leading E2E testing for large-scale banking or financial services programs.
- Expertise in test planning, execution, automation, and defect management.
- Good knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps delivery models.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, HP ALM/Quality Center, Selenium, Jenkins, and API testing tools.
- Understanding of system integration, middleware, data testing, and mainframe/open systems environments.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
Domain Knowledge
Experience in Retail/Personal Banking, including:
- Payments and Cards
- Savings and Insurance Products
- Customer & Risk Systems
- General Ledger and Accounting
- Online and Mobile Banking
