This role serves as the technical steward of the portfolio, aligning customer needs, market trends, and emerging technologies to drive sustainable growth, competitive differentiation, and platform scalability. You will collaborate across Product Management, Systems Architecture, Engineering, and Operations to develop and execute a multi-year technology roadmap that supports strategic growth initiatives, accelerates innovation, and enables early engagement in key customer applications.Job RequirementsDevelop and maintain the long-term technology and platform roadmap for pressure sensor product lines, ensuring alignment with business objectives, market opportunities, and customer requirementsCollaborate with Product Management, Systems Architects, Engineering, and Operations to identify, prioritize, and translate market and application needs into actionable technology strategiesLead the definition and execution of advanced development initiatives that support future product and platform capabilitiesIdentify technology trends, emerging opportunities, and competitive threats to establish and sustain market leadershipDevelop compelling technical value propositions and differentiated technology strategies to drive competitive advantageDrive portfolio growth through strategic platform development, product standardization, and the creation of scalable technology solutions across market verticalsEvaluate portfolio effectiveness and recommend technology investments, product enhancements, lifecycle actions, and footprint optimization opportunitiesLead value engineering initiatives to improve cost competitiveness, product performance, and operational efficiencyEnsure ongoing portfolio relevance through technology refreshes, platform evolution, and strategic investment planningChampion and coordinate cross-functional technology initiatives that support long-term business growth and profitabilityTechnical Leadership & Market EngagementServe as the primary technical authority for the pressure sensor technology portfolio, providing strategic guidance across the organizationBuild and maintain relationships with key customers, industry partners, and technology stakeholders to understand evolving application requirements and future market needsProvide technical leadership in customer engagements, supporting solution development, concept evaluation, and technology positioningCollaborate with Product Management and Marketing teams to develop technical content, customer-facing collateral, training materials, and portfolio messagingRepresent the portfolio internally and externally, communicating technology strategy, roadmap progress, and competitive differentiation to senior leadership, customers, and industry partnersWhat your background should look likeCommercial or technical background, ideally a joint degree of engineering and business administration (industrial/ commercial engineer)10+ years in product management / Engineering with pressure sensing preferably across Automotive, Medical, Industrial and AD&M MarketsProven track record in all product management skill areas (Product Line Management, Product Lifecycle Management & Market/Sales Enablement)Business acumen & strategic agilityExperience with Pressure Sensors in multiple market verticalsProficiency using Microsoft Office tools and basic SAP knowledgeCapability to synthesize and simplify complex portfolio’s to support internal and external promotionGood communication skills in Business English, written and verbal formAbility to lead a team and drive initiatives in a cross functional environmentStrong ability to link customer needs and business processesAbility to travel frequently on a global/regional basis#jobsEMEAASSET : Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers)ABOUT TE CONNECTIVITYTE Connectivity plc (NYSE: TEL) is a global industrial technology leader creating a safer, sustainable, productive, and connected future. Requirements
Commercial or technical background, ideally a joint degree of engineering and business administration (industrial/ commercial engineer) 10+ years in product management / Engineering with pressure sensing preferably across Automotive, Medical, Industrial and AD&M Markets Proven track record in all product management skill areas (Product Line Management, Product Lifecycle Management & Market/Sales Enablement) Business acumen & strategic agility Experience with Pressure Sensors in multiple market verticals Proficiency using Microsoft Office tools and basic SAP knowledge Capability to synthesize and simplify complex portfolio’s to support internal and external promotion Good communication skills in Business English, written and verbal form Ability to lead a team and drive initiatives in a cross functional environmentStrong ability to link customer needs and business processes Ability to travel frequently on a global/regional basis
