Job description

As a network administrator on our team, you’ll be integral to architecting, deploying, and operating complex network environments across various DoW clients in the Indo-Pacific region. You’ll create and employ new architectures to meet client requirements adhering to Zero T rus t best practices and IC data header guidelines. You’ll interface with key stakeholders and users, including internal delivery and engineering teams as well as cybersecurity professionals, to assure resilient data-centric delivery. You’ll support the design and implementation of custom policy to ensure positive control of data across hybrid cloud environments. You’ll mentor the next set of data administrators to help them grow into tomorrow’s delivery experts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience designing, deploying, and configuring network solutions, including TCP, IP, subnetting, IPv6, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, NAT, PAT, MPLS, QoS, or DHCP
  • Experience in SD-WAN implementation with various vendors, including Cisco, Juniper, or Versa
  • Experience with hybrid networks and firewall and security policies
  • Experience documenting and diagraming technical architectures
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience working in federal, DoW, or IC agency environments
  • Experience with a critical agency’s Type 1 cryptographic devices and CSfC
  • Knowledge of federal information security policies , standards, procedures, directives, frameworks, federal security authorizations, assessment, and risk management processes for enterprise systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT, Cybersecurity, or Engineering field
  • Cisco, Juniper, or F5 Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
