Solutions Architect Data Engineer

Our client is looking for a Solutions Architect with a data engineering focus to come in drive the design and architecting for an enterprise-wide data and analytics solutions supporting various company Market Intelligence initiatives. They will be a key player in defining scalable data architectures, integration patterns, and technical solutions across multiple platforms. They will partner closely with the distribution engineering team and software engineering to design and expose data services through APIs. They will Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure best practices for scalability, performance, governance, and maintainability across analytics solutions.

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Solution Architecture, Analytics Engineering, or related technical skills.

• Strong experience designing and implementing cloud-based data analytics solutions.

• Advanced SQL expertise with strong analytical and data processing capabilities.

• Hands-on experience with:

o PySpark

o Python

o Java Spring Boot

o Data integration and ETL/ELT development

o Spark / Databricks

o Snowflake

o Kafka

o Cloud-native data services

• Extensive experience with data modeling and data warehousing concepts.

• Experience designing and consuming APIs and integrating enterprise systems.

• Strong understanding of modern business intelligence and analytics platforms.

• BA in related field. * Background as a Data Engineer with progression into Solution Architecture.

• Experience supporting large-scale analytics and market intelligence environments.

• Ability to balance strategic architecture with technical execution.

• Demonstrated success operating independently in fast-paced and evolving environments.
