Sr. Power BI Developer

Monitor and support Power BI production environments, ensuring reports, dashboards, and data pipelines function properly.

Investigate and resolve complex Power BI issues, bugs, and data discrepancies that cannot be handled by junior team members.

Maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models based on business requirements.

Collaborate with business users to implement dashboard updates, reporting changes, and new data requests.

Support data refreshes, performance optimization, and system stability within the Power BI ecosystem.

Develop and implement enhancements related to pricing, operational metrics, and business reporting needs.

Ensure reporting deadlines and project deliverables are completed accurately and on time.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior BI team members., Preferred candidates willing to travel occasionally to headquarters in Atlanta, GA (not required).

Standard business hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Candidates can be based in either Eastern or Central time zones.

Looking for a senior-level resource who can serve as an escalation point for complex Power BI support and enhancement efforts.

8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Power BI development.

Expert-level experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise Power BI solutions.

Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric, including semantic models, data integration, and reporting.

Hands-on experience with Azure data services and cloud-based analytics solutions.

Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization, data modeling, and troubleshooting.

Experience working with Snowflake as a reporting and analytics data source.

Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and BI best practices.

Proven ability to troubleshoot complex reporting, dashboard, and data issues in a production environment.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, support requests, and project deliverables in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Matillion ETL.

Knowledge of Infor M3 or other ERP platforms.

Manufacturing industry experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.

Experience supporting executive-level dashboards and KPI reporting.
