Senior Cloud Data Engineer

Architect and implement highly scalable centralized and decentralized cloud-based enterprise data management systems. Develop and maintain robust end-to-end data pipelines utilizing complex SQL, Python, and Informatica workflows. Direct the design of complex enterprise data layers and facilitate technical reviews of critical ETL requirements. Establish and enforce comprehensive data governance processes, security policies, and privacy standards. Monitor cloud system performance and strategize optimization measures for large multi-terabyte data platforms. Evaluate and recommend innovative cloud products to optimize enterprise data curation, storage, and processing. Lead cross-functional technical design sessions to drive collaborative decision-making and ensure timely solution delivery. 5 or more years of experience in cloud data architecture and complex data pipeline engineering. Proficiency in Snowflake cloud data platforms and executing complex SQL and Python code. Experience with AWS cloud solutions, enterprise data warehousing, and decentralized data mesh architectures. Experience in building ETL data integrations utilizing Informatica IICS and Airflow orchestration. Experience with CI/CD deployment pipelines utilizing GitHub, Unix, Linux, and shell scripting. Experience in handling highly sensitive healthcare information while enforcing strict HIPAA data privacy controls. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate solutions to technical stakeholders.
