SAP Basis Administrator

A client of Insight Global is seeking an SAP Basis Administrator to support the Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS), USTRANSCOM’s enterprise SAP S/4HANA platform supporting global transportation, logistics, supply chain, and financial operations. This role will be responsible for maintaining the health, performance, security, and availability of the SAP landscape, including installations, upgrades, patching, monitoring, transport management, system refreshes, and technical migrations. The administrator will work closely with infrastructure, cybersecurity, database, functional, development, and cloud teams to support modernization, sustainment, and mission-critical operations. The ideal candidate has strong SAP Basis experience supporting SAP S/4HANA or ECC environments, SAP HANA databases, and transport management, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and support enterprise-scale SAP operations within a Department of Defense environment.

Active Secret Security Clearance

• Hands-on SAP Basis Administration experience in enterprise environments

• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC

• SAP installations, upgrades, patching, and system migrations

• Experience with SAP HANA databases

• Strong knowledge of SAP Transport Management System (TMS)

• Linux and/or Windows administration experience supporting SAP environments

• Troubleshooting and performance tuning of SAP systems

• Bachelor’s degree - SAP Certified Technology Associate (SAP S/4HANA Administration)

• SAP Fiori administration experience

• SAP Solution Manager / Focused Run experience

• SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) experience

• SAP RISE or cloud-based SAP environment experience

• High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) experience

• DoD, USTRANSCOM, logistics, transportation, or federal ERP program experience

• RMF, STIG, ATO, and cybersecurity compliance experience
