Job description

Seeking a Senior AWS Backend Developer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain reliable cloud-based backend systems and APIs., * Design and maintain scalable, reliable backend systems using AWS services.
Build and optimize secure RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL endpoints.
Develop clean, maintainable code using TypeScript, JavaScript, and other typed languages.
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, or similar tools.
Deploy and support cloud-based applications across AWS environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional and globally distributed engineering teams.
Develop automated tests and apply software engineering best practices to minimize maintenance and production issues.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with the JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem, Node.js, AWS, REST/GraphQL APIs, and CI/CD automation., * Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and related technologies such as Node.js, npm, and webpack.
Hands-on experience developing and deploying applications on AWS.
Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and Amplify.
Strong experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools, including GitLab, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, or equivalent.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Experience writing automated tests and maintaining production-quality code., * AWS certification such as AWS Certified Developer - Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
Experience with user-centered design principles or prototyping tools.
Experience working across frontend and backend teams to translate user and product requirements into technical solutions.
