Job description

  • Conduct Client Cyber Essentials and support Clients to gain formal certification
  • Support the delivery of Cyber Essentials Plus technical assessments
  • Collaborate with other Teams to identify and remediate Client security issues
  • Perform daily and weekly checks on security tools, monitor mailboxes and create help desk tickets to track client issues and internal tasks
  • Support the delivery of our Managed security services to Clients such as Dark Web Monitoring, Security Awareness training, Simulated Phishing & Vulnerability Scanning
  • Perform Vulnerability Scanning of Client networks and provide guidance and support throughout the remediation process to ensure that vulnerabilities are appropriately managed
  • Support Analysts and Consultants in the delivery of a wide range of security consultancy services

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, We are growing and looking to recruit a Junior Cyber Security Analyst to join our team. Full ‘on the job’ training will be provided however existing security certifications (or cyber degree) and industry experience is advantageous. Client satisfaction is paramount to us and therefore strong customer facing skills are a must.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a hybrid role and requires a minimum of 2 days in our Manchester Office therefore is more suitable for candidates in the North West., * Strong technical skills and good understanding of IT (Windows/Linux/Networks/Cloud)

  • Understanding of cyber security frameworks such as Cyber Essentials and the NIST Cyber Security framework
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on customer service
  • Excellent organisation, task prioritisation and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task, work as part of a team, and work independently
