Job description

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer with a strong background in developing enterprise-grade mobile applications within the Banking and Financial Services domain. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Android development, modern mobile architectures, and secure financial application development., * Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Android mobile applications for banking and financial services platforms.

  • Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, architects, and backend teams to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.
  • Develop secure, scalable, and high-performing mobile applications that meet banking compliance and security standards.
  • Implement new features, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize application performance.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices.
  • Work closely with QA teams to ensure application quality and stability.
  • Contribute to architecture discussions and technical design decisions.

Requirements

Note: Banking domain experience is mandatory. Ex-JPMC candidates with 10-12 years of relevant experience are strongly encouraged to apply., * 15+ years of overall IT experience with a strong focus on Android application development.

  • 10-12 years of experience is acceptable for Ex-JPMC candidates.
  • Mandatory experience working in the Banking or Financial Services industry.
  • Strong expertise in Android development using Java and Kotlin.
  • Hands-on experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, Jetpack Components, and Material Design.
  • Experience developing and supporting large-scale mobile banking applications.
  • Strong understanding of mobile application security, authentication, encryption, and secure coding standards.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend systems.
  • Knowledge of application performance optimization, debugging, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills., * Prior experience with JPMorgan Chase (JPMC) banking applications and platforms.
  • Experience with mobile payment systems, digital banking, wealth management, lending, or credit card platforms.
  • Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of modern mobile application architectures such as MVVM and Clean Architecture.
