Job description
The Software Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the implementation, administration, support, and continuous improvement of the company’s ABIS Adjutant Software Platform throughout all areas of the organization. This position serves as the primary internal resource for ERP management, business process integration, system optimization, and user training in a fast-paced metal-building manufacturing environment.
The Software Coordinator will quarterback the company’s use of the ABIS Adjutant platform to help automate and streamline operations across departments, including production, engineering, sales, purchasing, inventory, accounting, and project management. This role will work closely with company leadership, department managers, end users, and ABIS support personnel to ensure the software is fully integrated into daily operations and utilized to its maximum potential.
Key responsibilities include managing ERP workflows, troubleshooting software and user issues, maintaining data integrity, coordinating software updates and implementations, generating operational reports, and identifying opportunities for increased efficiency through automation and process improvement. The Software Coordinator will also develop procedures, maintain system documentation, and lead company-wide employee training to ensure consistent and effective use of the Adjutant platform.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Manufacturing company experience?, This position requires strong technical and analytical skills, a solid understanding of ERP systems and manufacturing operations, and the ability to align software functionality with company processes and operational goals. The ideal candidate will possess experience in ERP administration, software implementation, systems coordination, and business process management, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization., * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience with ERP systems, manufacturing software, business systems management, or IT coordination preferred.
- Experience with ABIS Adjutant Software Platform or similar ERP/manufacturing software strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory control, production scheduling, purchasing, and business process workflows.
- Ability to analyze operational processes and implement software-driven improvements and efficiencies.
- Experience with ERP implementation, system administration, software troubleshooting, and user support.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, reporting tools, and data management systems.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to train employees and communicate technical information to users with varying levels of software experience.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, departments, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively with management, department leads, vendors, and software support personnel.
- Experience with database management, reporting systems, and workflow automation preferred.
- Knowledge of steel manufacturing, metal building systems, or industrial production environments preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization.
