Software Engineer

The Software Engineer will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge to design, develop, and maintain complex software systems while ensuring all functional and performance requirements are met., * Designing and coding new software or modifying existing software to add new features and functionality.

• Analyzing user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements while debugging existing software to correct defects.
• Developing and implementing algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.
• Integrating existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
• Developing software solutions by analyzing system performance standards and conferring with users or system engineers.
• Writing or reviewing software and system documentation to ensure process standards are met.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 7+ years of software engineering experience; Four years of additional software engineering experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Proficiency with backend software development using Python.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience developing and deploying backend applications within cloud environments.
• Foundational understanding of Docker and a general familiarity with Kubernetes environments.
• Experience with Angular or React development.

Clearance Requirements:

• Active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
